Natalie Slade B.Music Management.

Natalie was the inspiration and founder of Octagon Live Restaurant in Christchurch. Ranked as high as third in New Zealand the Octagon restaurant gained an international reputation for New Zealand Cuisine and "music to dine for".
A proven leader, marketer and manager Natalie proved the critics wrong with her brand of fine dining and good live music ... only to be brought undone by the Christchurch earthquake on 22nd February 2011. Accustomed to being on stage and on camera Natalie accepted a contract to present a 10 part series ("Onwards and Upwards") and produce the new "City Life" programme for Canterbury Television before deciding to relaunch Octagon Live as a Record Label and a Staging and Production company.
Natalie Slade is an Australian born singer/ songwriter, who now calls Christchurch Home. She trained in Australia firstly at the Newtown School of Performing Arts, later as one of the top 10 students in her state to graduate from the Talent Development Project, and then on to study Music Management at the University of New England.
Her performance highlights are varied and include an appearance in Beijing with the Chinese Navy Band for 'IBM Jazz'; performances at the Sydney Entertainment Centre and The Opera House; and with big jazz names such as Erroll Buddle, Don Burrows, John Morrison, Doug Caldwell and David Helfgott.

Alan Slade CA(SA) MBA

After a grounding in finance Alan discovered his true business interest when he did his thesis on consumer behaviour and since then the power of market segmentation have been his area of speciality.
Alan's "business bible" led him away from a corporate career towards small business and he has been a private entrepreneur for 30 years; each time approaching a new opportunity by starting with establishing a customer need and neglected niche market and then moving backwards to find the product. This approach has seen Alan involved in a number of industries that have included advertising, publishing, promotions, furniture, beds, weddings, aircraft, tourism, hospitality and race horses.
Alan's greatest successes have, without any doubt, been in the tourism sector. His knowledge of the Korean and Japanese markets are acknowledged internationally and he is credited with being a key player in the launch of Japanese tourism in Australia and New Zealand.
